H .E Zaher Qatarneh is currently the Jordan Ministry of Investment Secretary General, Jordan Investment Fund General Manager.
Before that, during the period (2016 – Oct 2021), Mr Qatarneh was the Deputy Undersecretary for Technical Affaires / Director of Foreign Trade Policies directorate at the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply- Jordan he is supervising 4 of the main directorate in the Ministry namely the Industrial Development directorate, Competition department and the National Production Protection department.
Previously he worked as the Economic Counselor at the Jordanian Permanent Mission in Geneva for the period (1/2011-2/2016).
He has a working experience at several institutions representing both the public and the private sector. He has an experience in trade negotiations at the bilateral and multilateral level, more specifically on negotiating Free Trade Agreements including the Dispute Settlement Protocol with the EU.
Mr. Al- Qatarneh chaired different local committees mainly in the field of trade and development including the committee on developing the E-Commerce environment, the Committee on Women empowerment for the year 2016, and serves as the chair of the preparatory working Groups for the bilateral Joint Trade Committees.
Having the skills of negotiating and his accumulated knowledge of the FTAs, allowed him to be addressed at the top of many international delegation lists, including his membership in the Jordanian delegation at the High Levels Joint Trade Committees headed by the Prime Minister of Jordan.
Mr. Al-Qatarneh Chaired the Trade Related Investment Measures Committee at the World Trade Organization for the period 3/2015-3/2016, this position built over his experience gained when Jordan was the Coordinator at the WTO for the group of Asian developing countries, and the group of the Arab member countries in 2015 and 2014, respectively.
Being the representative of Jordan at the WTO and a Member of the Jordanian delegation to the WTO Ministerial Conferences held in Geneva, Bali, Nairobi and Buenos Aires in 2011, 2013, 2015 and 2017 respectively; was a great asset to enhance his knowledge on the multinational trade system.
Due to the vital role, Mr. Al-Qatarneh plays in the field of International Trade, he was invited to participate in The International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) for the year 2018, which is one of the US Department of State’s premier public diplomacy programs

Hasan Haider is the Founder and Managing Partner of +VC, an early stage venture capital firm focused on investing in tech and tech-enabled startups in MENA and its diaspora. He has over 10 years of experience investing in MENA startups.
Hasan was previously Managing Partner, MENA at 500 Startups and led the firm’s growth in the MENA region, turning 500 Startups into the most active VC fund in the MENA region, raising and deploying the 500 Falcons fund, building partnerships and running programs in the region to help build the regional ecosystem. Prior to joining +VC, Ibrahim played a key role, as a senior pioneering member and advisor, in establishing a PIF owned Company. Rabih Farhat is the Founder and Managing Partner behind Related, an award-winning martech agency that provides customized loyalty and reward solutions, and builds seamless technologies delivering exceptional customer experiences. With over 20 years of cross-industry expertise, he became a thought leader in driving the most successful programs across the Middle East and Africa region.
Prior to founding Related, Rabih was leading the Loyalty practice at Peppers & Rogers, within the MEA region. There he played an essential role in building the largest loyalty program in the region, Saudi Telecom’s Qitaf, with more than 3000 partnerships secured across the Kingdom, more than 25 million customers and SAR450 million in incremental revenue.
His hands-on experience varies from CRM to customer experience and management consulting, loyalty programs and strategic alliances, as well as digital transformation and innovation programs. This is reflected in his success in designing, developing, implementing and managing top-notch projects, including more than 10 loyalty rewards programs.
Rabih is an adamant believer in a more humane and compassionate “alliance” between brands and customers, and that any rewards program should play an active role in achieving a higher purpose than the commercial benefits for both brands and consumers. Besides the modern-day disruptive innovations that his company continues to build, and have built from scratch, their primary goal, as Rabih puts it, is to work together with brands on incentive programs that transform values into positive impact on society.
At its core, a loyalty program can be adapted to any vertical, be it telecom; retail; fintech or services andutilities, as long as it serves the higher purpose which Rabih believes in.
In 2020, his company, Related, was awarded the Best Industry Service Provider and Best Technology Solution as part of the international Incentive Awards, London. Rabih has received acknowledgements from top-executives in the region for his dedication and thought leadership. Anyone who's worked closely with him highlights his deep expertise in the topic of customer loyalty, as well as having the right ecosystem of partners and experts to help him elevate the industry. According to Rabih, his biggest achievement is his family, he is first and foremost a father and husband. His other pride and joy is Related, which he built passionately from the bottom up.
Ahmad Al Mughrabi, with more than 13 years of experience. Al Mughrabi began his career as a software engineer in the IT industry for some of the most prestigious companies, the matter that allowed him to broaden his knowledge and build his extensive expertise in E-commerce, E-booking and Fintech industries. Being an innovative professional and passionate for success, Al Mughrabi made a huge shift in his career when he decided to enter the entrepreneurial world by establishing a self-funded business "Vibes Solution", where he started to help startups in building their successful projects with steady steps, and as Vibes Solutions mastered the game from the very beginning. He led the team to develop many software products for various industries where this has paved the road in front of him to many win-to-win partnerships with many entities inside and outside Jordan.
Marwan Juma is one of Jordan’s leading IT figures and the former Minister of Information and Communications Technology. He is also the founder of Sama for Integrated Systems, better known as dot.jo, one of Jordan’s leading web development houses, and Kinz for Information Technology, the country’s leading corporate data provider. In addition, Marwan is one of the founders and current Chairman of Oasis 500, the region’s leading technology seed fund and accelerator. He previously held the CEO of Batelco Jordan, the country’s second fixed-line operator and leading data communication provider, as well as the CEO of Xpress, one of Jordan’s mobile operators.
Juma currently serves on several prominent boards including the King Abdullah Center for Excellence, Princess Sumaya University for Science and Technology, Jordan Capital and Investment Fund, Capital Investments, Al Kasih Food Production Co. and the Jordan Football Association among others. He also served on the “National Agenda’s “Royal Steering Committee, entrusted with developing Jordan’s national strategy for the period between 2005-2015.
Marwan was one of the founders and two-time Chairman, of INTAJ, the country’s ICT industry association, and is one of the founders of the REACH Initiative, the national private sector led five-year action plan that advanced Jordan’s nascent information technology sector and strengthened its ability to compete in local, regional and global markets.
Juma is a Holder of a Master’s in Management degree from North Carolina State University, and also holds two Bachelor’s degrees in Business Management and Economics from the same school.
Namek Zu’bi is the Co-Founder and a Managing Partner of Silicon Badia, a group of venture capital funds investing in entrepreneurs who are building the next generation of disruptive technology companies globally. A seasoned venture capitalist and a top decile fund manager, Namek has personally led investments in over 100 different technology companies globally in over 15 different industries across all stages. Namek has worked with hundreds of entrepreneurs in all capacities and has been involved in every step of the life cycle of a startup from launch to exit. Prior to this, Namek was a Founding Principal at a global macro opportunistic fund based in NYC, focusing on early stage venture capital investments in the software, digital media, mobile, fintech and internet spaces. Namek started his career on Wall Street where he worked at Deutsche Bank AG and UBS AG building technology for their global market equities groups. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa with honors and distinction from Carnegie Mellon University with a BS in Information Systems and currently resides in New York City.
Patric is a dual qualified barrister (Ireland, non-practising) and solicitor (England & Wales), experienced in a broad range of commercial, international trade, energy, construction & infrastructure, anti-bribery & corruption, shipping & insurance disputes. He has genuine multi-jurisdictional and multi-cultural experience, having practiced in London for over a decade and over fifteen years in most of the key arbitral jurisdictions in Asia (Shanghai, Hong Kong, Singapore and Tokyo).
Patric has extensive experience of conducting arbitrations before the LCIA, ICC, SIAC, JCAA, HKIAC, CIETAC, LMAA, FOSFA & GAFTA as well as having handled numerous reported cases in the London Commercial Court and Court of Appeal.
Prior to joining Global, he was a partner at several leading international law firms where he led their regional cross border arbitration practices and was ranked as a leading individual by the various legal directories. As for the UAE, Patric first worked here in 2000 when he was involved in the Glencore v Metro Trading International dispute concerning the alleged misappropriation of oil from four offshore floating storage/blending vessels off Fujairah. He is currently advising on several international trade and infrastructure matters.
Amjad works in the Litigation team in Abu Dhabi and joined in 2018. Prior to joining Global, Amjad worked in both the UAE and Jordan for over 22 years. He has acquired considerable experience in the civil, commercial and criminal laws of the UAE and also has extensive experience in drafting contracts and commercial agreements.
