Zaher Al Qatarneh holds a Master’s degree in International Law from Oxford Brookes University-England, in 2004.
H .E Zaher Qatarneh is currently the Jordan Ministry of Investment Secretary General, Jordan Investment Fund General Manager.
Before that, during the period (2016 – Oct 2021), Mr Qatarneh was the Deputy Undersecretary for Technical Affaires / Director of Foreign Trade Policies directorate at the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Supply- Jordan he is supervising 4 of the main directorate in the Ministry namely the Industrial Development directorate, Competition department and the National Production Protection department.
Previously he worked as the Economic Counselor at the Jordanian Permanent Mission in Geneva for the period (1/2011-2/2016).
He has a working experience at several institutions representing both the public and the private sector. He has an experience in trade negotiations at the bilateral and multilateral level, more specifically on negotiating Free Trade Agreements including the Dispute Settlement Protocol with the EU.
Mr. Al- Qatarneh chaired different local committees mainly in the field of trade and development including the committee on developing the E-Commerce environment, the Committee on Women empowerment for the year 2016, and serves as the chair of the preparatory working Groups for the bilateral Joint Trade Committees.
Having the skills of negotiating and his accumulated knowledge of the FTAs, allowed him to be addressed at the top of many international delegation lists, including his membership in the Jordanian delegation at the High Levels Joint Trade Committees headed by the Prime Minister of Jordan.
Mr. Al-Qatarneh Chaired the Trade Related Investment Measures Committee at the World Trade Organization for the period 3/2015-3/2016, this position built over his experience gained when Jordan was the Coordinator at the WTO for the group of Asian developing countries, and the group of the Arab member countries in 2015 and 2014, respectively.
Being the representative of Jordan at the WTO and a Member of the Jordanian delegation to the WTO Ministerial Conferences held in Geneva, Bali, Nairobi and Buenos Aires in 2011, 2013, 2015 and 2017 respectively; was a great asset to enhance his knowledge on the multinational trade system.
Due to the vital role, Mr. Al-Qatarneh plays in the field of International Trade, he was invited to participate in The International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) for the year 2018, which is one of the US Department of State’s premier public diplomacy programs

Dr. Zuraik is an Innovation Ambassador & certified Global Trainer in Innovation Management from GIM Institute. He is experienced in building innovation & Intrapreneurial capacity in corporations using Blue Ocean Strategy, Design Thinking, Lean Startup, Business Model Innovation, and Value Proposition Design frameworks. He is also the Head of Scientific Research & Innovation Support Fund Committee, (Innovation & Entrepreneurship) – Jordan. Dr. Zuraik has consulted for many firms in Jordan, the USA, and GCC.
With more than 20 years as a serial entrepreneur and innovation expert who founded different startups in diverse industries, Dr. Zuraik mainly objective is to help companies and organizations to grow by capitalizing on innovation & intrapreneurial capabilities using robust and cutting-edge processes and frameworks, also by creating an excellence culture and promoting collaborative alliances between businesses and their partners. Dina is the founder and CEO of 360Moms; an online bilingual platform and mobile app aimed to revolutionize the digital support offered to mothers. Dina began her career studying “Graphic design” which led her to work at media and advertising agencies including working at Yahoo as (Head of the Creatives) in the Middle East and Africa. She has 20 years of experience in online digital solutions, online advertising, branding, and online & offline design. She has held leadership positions for most of her career. Dina is passionate about empowering women, and she’s dedicated to continuing her vision of supporting all mothers digitally regarding their children’s health and wellbeing through “360Moms”, which won several regional, global and local awards. She lives with her husband, Omar, and her two children in Amman, Jordan.

Mohammed Al-Shaker is the founder and group CEO of ArabiaWeather Inc. He oversees the company’s continuous growth and expansion and is responsible for further developing ArabiaWeather’ s comprehensive portfolio of proprietary solutions for businesses and consumers throughout the region.
Mohammed founded the company in 2006 as a single-page application publishing weather forecasts for over 25 locations in Jordan. In response to the growing demand for accurate weather reporting across the Arab World, Mohammed rebranded the company and officially launched ArabiaWeather in 2011.
Since then, ArabiaWeather has grown to become the top weather service provider in the Middle East, and he led the deploying of weather stations over the Middle East, coupled with regionally adapted algorithms, enhance forecast accuracy and precision, differentiating the company from local weather services and international providers who draw on crude data from global satellites and use generic algorithms.
Recently, Mohammed was named as the chairman of the Jordan Entrepreneurship and Innovation Association "JEIA" looking to support the local efforts in entrepreneurship and innovation.

Raghad AlKhojah is the Chief Executive Officer at the American Chamber of Commerce in Jordan. She has had a lucrative and illustrious career in various corporate, international, and governmental bodies.
Early in her career, Dr. AlKhojah was the Program Manager International Federation of Red Cross and RCS in Geneva and Iraq, going on to become Deputy General Secretary of the Jordan Red Crescent Society.
She also served as a Chief Executive Officer of the Garment design and Training Services Centre in Jordan, and the Chief Executive Officer of the Jordan Garment Exporters Association. Dr. AlKhojah then took on the role of project consultant at the European Union, then CEDAW training consultant for International Women’s Rights Action Watch, and a training consultant for the United Nations Development Project.

Mr. Ala’a Al Sallal is the CEO of Madfooatcom’s company. He has a proven experience in e-commerce businesses after he established the largest online store for Arabic and English books in the MENA region, offering more than 10 million titles with worldwide delivery.
Ala' worked on web development projects since 2004, and he has been working to administer the translation process of Wordpress.com into Arabic since 2006. As an undergraduate, Ala’ supervised a team of volunteers who translated “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows” into Arabic and it crossed 1M downloads in 1 month, which was a driving force in the later creation of Jamalon.com.

Dana is the CEO at Whyise, an impact analytics software company that provides clients with data management, data collection, and impact measurement automated services.
Dana has over 12 years of experience in the international development field, ranging from International organizations, NGOs, private and public sector. She has so far spent her professional life in the US, Kuwait, Palestine, and Jordan, where she has focused her career on human rights, economic development, poverty alleviation, and strategic planning in the Middle East.
She previously served as the Special Advisor to the Minister of Planning in Palestine on aid management and donors’ relations. Dana’s previous positions include consultancies with the UN, the World Bank’s Middle East and North Africa region Sustainable Development Department in Washington DC, and a number of NGOs. Prior to her career in international development, Dana worked for seven years as an architect.
Dana previously served as a board member and the Director of Communications for the MIT Arab Alumni Association. She is a Munich Young Leader Alumna, an MIT Humphrey SPURS fellow and was a Research Fellow at the Kenyon Institute in 2016 in Jerusalem. She is the author of several publications on international development and urban planning. Dana’s photography series Borders Crossing Bodies has been exhibited in Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and North America. She holds a Bachelor`s of Art in Architecture from the University of California, Berkeley (2001) and a Masters in City Planning from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (2009).

The Atelier, won multiple international and local awards, and expanded their operations to work with Facebook, Zain, Societee General Bank, the embassy of Sweden, and much more.
With her background as a senior marketing manager, for multiple international brands, like BCBG & Pinko, Hanan has started Bloom Cart in 2021 MENA's first Try Before You Buy (TBYB) software that automates returns in e-commerce. In less than 6 months of its establishment, Bloom Cart has won the Queen Rania Entrepreneurship Award, and was chosen as one of the fastest growing companies in the world in 2021 by Founder Institute Silicon Valley.

Hasan Haider is the Founder and Managing Partner of +VC, an early stage venture capital firm focused on investing in tech and tech-enabled startups in MENA and its diaspora. He has over 10 years of experience investing in MENA startups.
Hasan was previously Managing Partner, MENA at 500 Startups and led the firm’s growth in the MENA region, turning 500 Startups into the most active VC fund in the MENA region, raising and deploying the 500 Falcons fund, building partnerships and running programs in the region to help build the regional ecosystem. Hasan has invested in more than 180 startups in the region over the course of the last 10 years.
Prior to 500, Hasan was the co-founder and CEO of Tenmou, the first business angel’s organization in Bahrain and one of the first in the MENA region. Hasan’s work in developing angel investment in emerging markets through Tenmou has been picked up as a Case Study by the World Bank and Harvard and was taught to Entrepreneurship Policy makers at Babson College. Hasan started off his career in finance and investment banking at Sico, before he moved to Tenmou.

Ibrahim is a Partner, at +VC, an early-stage venture capital firm focused on investing in tech and tech-enabled startups in MENA and its diaspora. He is a multi-disciplined professional, entrepreneur and investor with a strong interest in establishing organizations from small to medium sized companies to large government corporations.
Prior to joining +VC, Ibrahim played a key role, as a senior pioneering member and advisor, in establishing a PIF owned Company. The aim of the company was to convert, develop and operate a number of historical royal palaces into ultra-luxury boutique hotels as part of Vision 2030. In his role, he helped form the company’s strategy, structure its development and operation capabilities; subsequently, as Investment Director, was responsible for investments with a target of deploying SAR 7.5 billion.
Prior to that, Ibrahim established and institutionalized a private family office with a diversified portfolio of investments, from private equity to real estate, direct and indirect investments, and continues to sit on the investment committee.
In addition, Ibrahim founded a real estate development company where he successfully sold his first project off-plan and progressed to create a trusted name as a developer in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The company is currently operating in partnership and Ibrahim is a board member.
Ibrahim started his career in investment banking at HSBC Investment Bank before starting his corporate/ entrepreneurial journey. He graduated from University of London, Royal Holloway with a degree in Business Management.

Rabih Farhat is the Founder and Managing Partner behind Related, an award-winning martech agency that provides customized loyalty and reward solutions, and builds seamless technologies delivering exceptional customer experiences. With over 20 years of cross-industry expertise, he became a thought leader in driving the most successful programs across the Middle East and Africa region.
Prior to founding Related, Rabih was leading the Loyalty practice at Peppers & Rogers, within the MEA region. There he played an essential role in building the largest loyalty program in the region, Saudi Telecom’s Qitaf, with more than 3000 partnerships secured across the Kingdom, more than 25 million customers and SAR450 million in incremental revenue.
His hands-on experience varies from CRM to customer experience and management consulting, loyalty programs and strategic alliances, as well as digital transformation and innovation programs. This is reflected in his success in designing, developing, implementing and managing top-notch projects, including more than 10 loyalty rewards programs.
Rabih is an adamant believer in a more humane and compassionate “alliance” between brands and customers, and that any rewards program should play an active role in achieving a higher purpose than the commercial benefits for both brands and consumers. Ahmad Al Mughrabi, with more than 13 years of experience. Al Mughrabi began his career as a software engineer in the IT industry for some of the most prestigious companies, the matter that allowed him to broaden his knowledge and build his extensive expertise in E-commerce, E-booking and Fintech industries. Being an innovative professional and passionate for success, Al Mughrabi made a huge shift in his career when he decided to enter the entrepreneurial world by establishing a self-funded business "Vibes Solution", where he started to help startups in building their successful projects with steady steps, and as Vibes Solutions mastered the game from the very beginning. He led the team to develop many software products for various industries where this has paved the road in front of him to many win-to-win partnerships with many entities inside and outside Jordan.

Marwan Juma is one of Jordan’s leading IT figures and the former Minister of Information and Communications Technology. He is also the founder of Sama for Integrated Systems, better known as dot.jo, one of Jordan’s leading web development houses, and Kinz for Information Technology, the country’s leading corporate data provider. In addition, Marwan is one of the founders and current Chairman of Oasis 500, the region’s leading technology seed fund and accelerator. He previously held the CEO of Batelco Jordan, the country’s second fixed-line operator and leading data communication provider, as well as the CEO of Xpress, one of Jordan’s mobile operators.
Juma currently serves on several prominent boards including the King Abdullah Center for Excellence, Princess Sumaya University for Science and Technology, Jordan Capital and Investment Fund, Capital Investments, Al Kasih Food Production Co. and the Jordan Football Association among others. He also served on the “National Agenda’s “Royal Steering Committee, entrusted with developing Jordan’s national strategy for the period between 2005-2015.
Marwan was one of the founders and two-time Chairman, of INTAJ, the country’s ICT industry association, and is one of the founders of the REACH Initiative, the national private sector led five-year action plan that advanced Jordan’s nascent information technology sector and strengthened its ability to compete in local, regional and global markets.
Juma is a Holder of a Master’s in Management degree from North Carolina State University, and also holds two Bachelor’s degrees in Business Management and Economics from the same school.

Namek Zu’bi is the Co-Founder and a Managing Partner of Silicon Badia, a group of venture capital funds investing in entrepreneurs who are building the next generation of disruptive technology companies globally. A seasoned venture capitalist and a top decile fund manager, Namek has personally led investments in over 100 different technology companies globally in over 15 different industries across all stages. Namek has worked with hundreds of entrepreneurs in all capacities and has been involved in every step of the life cycle of a startup from launch to exit. Prior to this, Namek was a Founding Principal at a global macro opportunistic fund based in NYC, focusing on early stage venture capital investments in the software, digital media, mobile, fintech and internet spaces. Namek started his career on Wall Street where he worked at Deutsche Bank AG and UBS AG building technology for their global market equities groups. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa with honors and distinction from Carnegie Mellon University with a BS in Information Systems and currently resides in New York City.

Patric is a dual qualified barrister (Ireland, non-practising) and solicitor (England & Wales), experienced in a broad range of commercial, international trade, energy, construction & infrastructure, anti-bribery & corruption, shipping & insurance disputes. He has genuine multi-jurisdictional and multi-cultural experience, having practiced in London for over a decade and over fifteen years in most of the key arbitral jurisdictions in Asia (Shanghai, Hong Kong, Singapore and Tokyo).
Patric has extensive experience of conducting arbitrations before the LCIA, ICC, SIAC, JCAA, HKIAC, CIETAC, LMAA, FOSFA & GAFTA as well as having handled numerous reported cases in the London Commercial Court and Court of Appeal.
Prior to joining Global, he was a partner at several leading international law firms where he led their regional cross border arbitration practices and was ranked as a leading individual by the various legal directories. As for the UAE, Patric first worked here in 2000 when he was involved in the Glencore v Metro Trading International dispute concerning the alleged misappropriation of oil from four offshore floating storage/blending vessels off Fujairah. He is currently advising on several international trade and infrastructure matters.
